Luke Robinson

Founder & Master Craftsman

With over 20 years of experience in conservation and heritage construction, Luke, based in Reading, has built a career dedicated to conserving and restoring historic buildings using traditional techniques and materials. His passion for craftsmanship and attention to detail ensures every project is completed to the highest standard.

Starting his career as an apprentice with one of the UK's leading conservation companies, Luke developed his skills as a joiner, carpenter, and timber framer before gaining hands-on expertise across all trades, including bricklaying and plastering. His dedication and experience saw him progress to project management level, where he oversaw complex restoration projects with precision and care.

Over the years, Luke has earned the trust to work on some of the nation’s most treasured landmarks, including National Trust properties and royal palaces, a testament to his skill, discretion, and deep respect for heritage.

In 2014, he took the leap to work independently, bringing his expertise and commitment to quality to every project. Known for his reliability, organisation, strong communication, and meticulous approach, Luke takes pride in restoring historic structures with skill and integrity, ensuring traditional craftsmanship continues to protect and enhance their legacy for generations to come.

Whether you need a small repair, a major restoration, a thoughtfully designed extension, or are looking to bring an idea to life to make your home more comfortable and enjoyable.
